Internal seal

What is the "Indaxy by Capital Appraisal" seal?

The "Indaxy by Capital Appraisal" seal is the internal mark we apply to every piece of software we deliver — Asset Studio, App Valoradores, App Empresas and our custom developments. It indicates that the technology has passed our internal policies before going to production: methodology, security, traceability, ethics and audit.

It is the "product" version of the firm's RICS regulation. The regulation covers the valuer's work; the seal covers the software with which that valuer operates. When a bank, fund or insurer receives a report signed by us, the two seals back the figure: the valuer's MRICS designation and the tool's mark.

What it certifies

The six internal policies that are verified

Every release of the software goes through this signed checklist before being promoted to production. It is reviewed by the Indaxy team together with an MRICS valuer from Capital Appraisal.

RICS Red Book methodology

The software's calculations follow the three RICS approaches (cost, market, income) and the recognised bases of value (FMV, OLV, FLV, VRN, VRD). The automated valuation proposes a figure with its confidence score; the MRICS valuer reviews it, adjusts it and signs it.

Data security

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Cloud-native hosting in European regions. Role-based access with mandatory MFA. Auditable logs of every operation.

Traceability per asset

Every figure, every automated valuation calculation and every comparable is recorded: inputs, sources and confidence of the calculation. Auditable by the client, by an external auditor and by a court in the event of expert proceedings.

Independence of the calculation

Automated valuation never replaces the valuer. It proposes a value; the MRICS valuer reviews the figure, cross-checks it against comparables and signs it. RICS traceability requires this human signature — without it, there is no report.

Confidentiality and GDPR

Reciprocal NDA with every client. Client data is not shared with third parties and is not used to feed the comparables base without explicit authorisation. GDPR-compliant by design.

Internal audit before release

Before every release to production, the Indaxy team runs a signed checklist: methodological review, security testing, validation against known comparables and a review of the impact on existing reports.
Coverage

Where the seal appears

The seal is visibly embedded in every product interface and in every report generated by our tools. It is identifiable at a glance.

  • Asset Studio — the web platform for corporate banking, funds and insurers
  • App Valoradores — the mobile app for structured on-site capture
  • App Empresas — the self-service portal for industry
  • Custom developments — integrations, automations and bespoke connectors
  • Digitally signed PDF/A reports — the seal accompanies the valuer's signature
Why it matters

The value for the risk, accounting or underwriting team

The RICS regulation already states that the valuation firm operates under the international standard. The Indaxy by CA seal adds the next layer: the very tool with which the report has been generated is also under our standards — it is not an ad-hoc calculation, it is an audited process.

In practice, this translates into fewer questions from the risk committee, the Big Four auditor or the expert court. The report arrives with two visible guarantees: the MRICS valuer's signature (RICS regulation) and the technology's mark (internal seal). Both back the figure and the methodology that sustains it.

If your team needs to review the scope of the seal or to audit our internal policies, we provide the documentation under a reciprocal NDA. It is part of the technical onboarding for corporate banks, funds and insurers that sign framework agreements with us.
